Agreed — it’s too bad he couldn’t have been interviewed. Though like a lot of serial killers, he seemed like he would stretch the truth or outright lie to make himself look less guilty.

As for his brother’s death…it’s not entirely certain that George was with him at the time. Some sources say he was, others (quoting him) say he was in New Orleans at the time. I had to come down on one side or the other, so I chose not to believe George’s version.
