Except that one of these things is actually happening, to the point where national security experts are warning that they pose a significant threat to national security. The other is pure propaganda, with no basis in reality.

The fact is, it doesn't take two sides deciding to go to war to start a war. It only takes one side doing so. And it's clear that one side has already declared war on the other by committing ever more increasing acts of violence against its "enemies."

I hope, for all our sakes, that I'm wrong and you're right.
