Andrew Jackson: America’s Most Violent President

Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill. In 2016, the US Treasury Dept. announced that his image would be replaced with that of abolitionist bad-ass Harriet Tubman. However, Donald Trump’s Secretary of the Treasury, Steve Mnuchin, has blocked that change, keeping Trump’s favorite president on the bill.

It’s Presidents Day, and since I like to focus on the dark, disturbing, and deadly, you know I’m going to talk about a man who is probably the most violent man to ever sit in the White House: Andrew Jackson, the seventh president of the United States.
