I am so sorry for this abuse you suffered. Yes, it was abuse! It left you deeply wounded — those zealots did with brainwashing what some other zealots do with a sharp knife. I applaud your courage for writing about it, and I hope other girls and women who have suffered this kind of abuse will read this and find a way toward healing.
