I couldn’t agree more. It’s one thing to let an addict mess up your life, but to let them mess up your kids…no. Just no. I’m sorry but I have nothing but disgust for someone who would willingly stay with someone who is abusing (mentally, physically, sexually, whatever) their children. It’s Job 1 to protect your kids, and if that means you have to leave an abuser, then by Gods you leave.
