I hear you. I don’t want to blame the victims, either, but it does seem like they just never said no to Joel Jr., and so he felt completely entitled to whatever he wanted. However, I will say that based on the family’s statements about him — how he was basically anti-social — and how he acted in court, I think he might have some more mental issues going on, like maybe even psychopathy.
