I know, it really boggles the imagination that she could kill 9 kids and no one caught her. To be fair, many people did start to have suspicions, especially after her adopted son, Michael, died. My best guess is that back in those days, they just thought kids just died in their sleep a lot.

As for Joe, yeah…I’m with you on that one. He’s got to be a couple sandwiches short of a picnic. She even tried to kill him!!! What’s strange is in nearly every case of Munchausen by Proxy/FDIA, if the dad is around, he’s a lot like Joe…really clueless, just lets the wife do whatever, never questions anything. It’s a weird dynamic.
