I used the word “funny” referring to the fact that they so quickly turned on each other, not in the “ha ha” sense, in the “strange and unexpected” sense. You know how you might see something out of place and say, “that’s funny…” But I won’t deny there is some degree of schadenfreude and/or gallows humor in the situation.
