I’m so sorry that happened to someone you knew. I’m relieved that you found my approach respectful. It’s the #1 thing I want to get across: these were real people. No one deserves to be a victim.

I know not everyone likes or understands true crime. Those of us who enjoy these stories do for lots of reasons, including learning about criminals and how they operate. Maybe that knowledge can help us see red flags sooner. Some are just interested in the forensic science.
