I’m with you. Though I don’t think that psychic abilities are totally fake — I just think it’s not what we typically think of it. Rupert Sheldrake wrote a book called “The Sense of Being Stared At” that looks at these kinds of things. Many, many people can tell when someone is staring at them, even if they can’t see that person. And many people have had experiences where they have had a dream/feeling/intuition about someone they care deeply about. So I don’t discount it entirely, but I do have a healthy skepticism, especially about people who claim to be able to do it at the drop of a hat (or dollar bills).
