It’s so true… but it doesn’t *have* to be quite so exhausting. Kids, from a very young age, are capable of picking up after themselves. From about 10 or so, they can do their own laundry. And if you’re lucky enough to have a partner, it’s totally reasonable to expect them to shoulder their fair share of running kids around, remembering birthdays, cooking dinners, etc. Too many moms are conditioned to just do *everything,* and it’s killing us.
