Honestly I agree with you that if someone is that violent, they need to be behind bars (or in a mental institution) for life. I do think Omaima had some mental issues going on, but she was perfectly lucid and knew what she was doing.

I really do wish that we did more to provide mental heath care here in the US. I think a lot of crimes could be prevented if people could get the therapy and/or medication they need.
