Thank you for that. I can understand (somewhat) how infuriating that must be...we see it all the time, horrible killers treated with kid gloves while petty crooks and innocent people are brutalized by the cops and vilified by the media. It enrages me and I'm white; I can only image how it must feel for POC. That's why I do try to be fair in my own writings.
This particular case was one of the rare ones where no one saw any kind of red flag; he really did seem like a happy, normal guy...until this. That's what made it so shocking!
