Thank you so much! I hadn’t heard that he chose places connected to her; I was under the impression he was choosing places randomly (in different states even) specifically to make her (planned) murder look like she was just the victim of a random attack.

I do have a vague memory of some news program or documentary, where she stated that she had a fear that the shooter was her ex, but didn’t have anything but her gut instinct, so she didn’t say anything…but like you, I’m not sure that’s true, since it’s a very old memory and I haven’t seen anything to confirm it.

I appreciate you picking up on the themes of this tragedy…DV, radicalization, and the ways adults can manipulate vulnerable young people. I hope it — and your comments — can do some good.
