They can't blame Pelosi for this. There were litearlly NO federal forces at the Capitol that day, despite the fact that the president was there holding a big rally and that both houses of Congress - including the next two people in the line of presidential succession - were present in the Capitol.

I recall, after the election, Chump suddenly replaced several high-level Pentagon officials with (as usual) unqualified toadies. It bothered me (and others who were paying attention); it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. He was putting things/people in place to try something scary...and on Jan. 6, we saw exactly what. Why were there no federal forces there on that day? Why did it take HOURS for the National Guard to be deployed? I think we know the answers.
