This was a great article. I'm just adding a thought, not that it needed anything added to it, but I just wanted to bring it up.

A LOT of women have been victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. Percentages vary based on the source and how it's counted, etc., but it's a sizable number. Myself included. And my mother, and several of my best friends...anyway, my point is, men should bear that in mind. While you're worried about getting rejected, women are worried about getting raped or beaten. Go easy. Be patient. Good advice for any gender, really.
