Well, that’s because Jeffrey Dahmer wasn’t charming in any sense of the word. He was shy and awkward, and came off as a real weirdo (though no one suspected he was violent). He was able to get away with being a serial rapist and murderer because he knew how to talk to authority figures…and because he was white.
