"We're a country of laws." That's hilarious. Look around. Republicans - elected officials like Chump on down - have been flouting the law for years, and nothing is done. They incited an actual, violent insurrection on the Capitol and nothing was done. Now there are some of the rioters being arrested - months later - and so far, getting pretty lenient sentences. There have been two sets of laws for years: one for the wealthy and right-wingers, and another for the poor, leftists, and people of color.
