You’re right, in a sense, about tattoos making it easier to identify a person. But there are *plenty* of right-wingers and military folks with tattoos. Personally I’m too stubborn to try and remain undetected…I want to live my life, and decorate my body, as I choose, and I refuse to let anyone impinge on what I consider the most basic human right (that of bodily autonomy). And I have definitely paid the price for it, in various ways. But I can’t pretend to be someone I’m not. I’m sure Caius feels the same way…I just wish I had more info. It seems like the state’s case was really weak, but maybe there was evidence I don’t know about.
